The Entire Middle Tennessee area is definitely in the holiday spirit this year. There are numerous holiday events happening around the Nashville area.
The Franklin Christmas Tree Lighting will be held on Today, December 3 at 5:15 p.m. This event features entertainment by musicians/performers, and local school children. Also there will be a Santa Claus out for the family fun.
Dulce Dessets’ Holiday Open House will be held on Saturday, December 5 at 3:00 p.m. From 3-6pm you can sample lots of desserts for holiday celebrations and check out the newly renovated building.
Donelson Hermitage Christmas Parade will be Saturday, December 5 at 2:00 p.m. This parade will be celebrating 31 years of an American Christmas tradition.
Another amazing experience is the Opryland Christmas Lights. This will be every day until Jan. 2nd. There are over 2 million Christmas lights used that attracts visitors from all over the world. The lights feature custom music city designs from all around Nashville.
The biggest event around Middle Tennessee takes place from now every Monday and Tuesday until January 3rd in Jellystone Park. For the 6th year in a row, Jellystone Park hosts the Dancing Lights of Christmas. This is the largest drive through lights show in Middle Tennessee. There will be fire truck rides and even Yogi the bear to greet families.
These are just a few of many events happening around the Middle Tennessee area. Whenever you get a chance, take a visit and spread the holiday cheer.
